So just a pic of the cameras PCB.
Amcrest 841 Wifi 2.4 PCB
Re: 841 Wifi 2.4
So someone has asked, Pins 4, 5, 6 are ground. Pin 1 for the Wifi Daughter board is 3.3v and this leaves 2 and 3 for TX and RX.. Seeing there is no datasheet for the camera or a Schematic that I could find for the camera that is all I have to offer at this time. I guess I could setup my Wifi and test it with my Scope to see what one is RX and TX but I think what is important is if the wifi isn't working first thing to do is take a look to see if you have 3.3v on pin 1. That is the 6 pins that are on the side of the daughter board.
While I am calling them Pins, I know there are no Pins here they are using an Edge point VIA to solder the wifi board to the main PCB of the camera. I just calling them Pins as a way to understand better.. On the PCB you can see 1-6 and on the Wifi board next to the number is soldering via that are making that connection..
